Simon Buchan is a highly accomplished studio and outdoor photographer, equally at home with standard SLR and medium format roll-film cameras, working in both colour and black and white..
He has many years' experience of all aspects of photographic theory and practice, but he is also a qualified artist and graphics designer, with both disciplines enhancing his photographer's eye for composition and line.
 Simon's patience, perseverance and tenacity are among his many and varied strengths as a photographer, and have allowed him to capture numerous unique pictures of children and wildlife, as well as a number of once-in-a-lifetime compositions that no amount of forward-planning and preparation could have achieved. He was just in the right place at the right time ... and had been for some while!
Simon takes family album pictures and industrial landscapes with equal dedication and attention to detail, and - as one reviewer put it recently - "always surprises and delights". |
